國際博物館協會(ICOM)每年都會在國際博物館日選擇一個有關社會關注核心的主題。2021年的主題是「博物館的未來︰復甦與新象」。為了慶祝518國際博物館日暨佛光山佛陀紀念館十周年紀念，佛陀紀念館將推出三個嶄新的數位體驗項目。
佛館將於五月份舉辦兩個大展：「佛教海線絲綢之路」與「人間池塘」兩個主要展覽揭開序幕。此二大展同時可以在「開放博物館」網路平台上瀏覽。遊客亦可到本館第三展廳現場參與「勇闖海線絲路」line闖關遊戲，完成後可領取過關獎勵。同時也建置了新的網站，以因應時代的需求與變化，希望藉此讓觀眾看到佛館豐富的典藏與人間佛教的教育內涵。
The
International Council of Museums (ICOM) selects a theme that is at the heart of
the concerns of society for International Museum Day each year. The theme for
2021 is "The Future of Museums: Recover and Reimagine." In
celebration of International Museum Day 2021 and the Museum’s tenth year
anniversary, the Buddha Museum has come up with three new digital experiences.
Two
major exhibitions - “Buddhist Maritime Silk Road” and “The Earthly Pond” - will
be launched in May and uploaded to the Open Museum platform for online viewing.
Visitors can also take part in the “Braving through the Maritime Silk Road”
LINE Quiz at Main Hall Gallery 3. Visitors who answer all questions correctly
will get to receive a gift. In addition, the Buddha Museum will also launch a
new official website to bring more exciting online content to our visitors.
