佛陀紀念館作為文化、教育與藝術的國際平台，每年都有來自不同學校、國籍的學生申請來館實習，期許能開拓國際視野，訓練博物館技巧，今年2月來自台灣文藻外語大學的實習生更分享在佛館國際組實習期間滿滿的收穫與喜悅。
黃敏慈／以前只有過年會來佛館看煙火，實習之後才知道這裡有這麼多地方、展覽、活動。一開始有點擔心非佛教徒的我會不適應這裡的環境，後來發現佛館是很多元的，不只佛教、也有佛教藝術、歷史、文化。實習期間常常要為外國遊客導覽，這對不善交際的我來說是很大的挑戰，不過隨著經驗累積，就漸漸不再緊張了，這是我最大的成長。
胡文慧／因為家人都是佛教徒，所以也來過佛館幾次，但是在實習之前從未想過佛館是這麼國際化與注重文化、教育與慈善的博物館。在這次實習中，透過導覽、服務台諮詢以及翻譯的工作讓我多方訓練了英語能力，也更加了解星雲大師「以人為本」的理念。我覺得佛館是一個多元平台，可以讓不同國家、文化的人藉由佛館，了解佛教、中國文化以及藝術。我也學習到，做任何工作時應該要細心的檢查、為下一個接手工作的人著想、以及溝通的重要性。
The Buddha Museum is regarded as an international platform
combining culture, education and art. Students from different schools and
countries apply for internships here in order to broaden their world view and
learn new experiences. Let us see what the students from Wenzao Ursuline
University of Languages who are taking up an internship at the International
Affairs Team since February have to say.
Irene Huang ／ In the past, I came to the Buddha Museum only during Chinese New
Year to watch the fireworks. I didn’t know that there
were so many places and exhibitions to visit and so many activities to
participate in until the internship. In the beginning, I was a bit worried that
I couldn’t adapt to the environment here because I am
not a Buddhist. However, I discovered that the Buddha Museum is a diverse place
associated with not only Buddhism but also Buddhist arts, history, and culture.
During the internship, I led tour for visitors, which is a big challenge for me
because I am not good at interacting with people. Nevertheless, I become less nervous
as I have more and more experiences. This was my biggest improvement.
Sandy Hu ／ I’ve been to Buddha Museum several times
before this internship because I live in a Buddhist family. However, it never occurred
to me that the place would be such a world-class museum, which puts emphasis on
culture, education as well as charity. Internship at the museum not only helps
with my English skills, it also gives me a profound understanding of Venerable
Master Hsing Yun’s idea of “focusing
on people’s needs” through
touring, helping at the information desk, and translating articles. The museum
is a multi-functional platform where people from different countries and different
cultures can learn about Buddhism, Chinese culture, and art. I have learnt that
I should be careful no matter what work I do and be considerate for the person
taking over my work. I have also realized the importance of communication.
佛陀紀念館在台灣建教合作並來館實習的大學有：正修科技大學、屏東科技大學、高雄科技大學、南華大學、佛光大學、文藻外語大學等。佛館歡迎各大學來參訪。
