The Journey of the Heart is a two-day program designed for modern people to slow down the pace and find an outlet for rejuvenation. We hope that participants of this program can learn to let go of worldly attachments, and experience the Journey of the Heart.

Though I’ve not been able to speak the language (Mandarin), or understand, everybody has been very welcoming. Venerable Miao Yuan has been very compassionate with my lack of understanding, and all of the devotees who have participated here assisted me in kind ways. (This program) helped me find inner peace, and find the Middle Path because it’s the ‘journey to the heart’.”

Venerable Ru Chang, Director of the Buddha Museum, encouraged every participant to find their true selves through inner tranquility, and develop the strength to face difficulties in life through the understanding of impermanence.
