Venerable Master Hsing Yun has regarded the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum as a place of culture and education. Visitors ranging from individuals to families, schools, and organizations, are free to gather and learn here. Based on this, the educational field trip is thus designed for all the schools and educational organization. Through walking into the Buddha Museum, it is as if one enters the pop-up book about Buddhist culture, students can tour around the Buddhist architecture, appreciate Buddhist art, and play in the interactive theater, as well as transcribe the words of wisdom and enjoy tea ceremony in order to learn much more about the Buddhist and Chinese culture.

After participating in the field trip, a student from Thailand remarked that he has a better understanding about Buddhism and the tea ceremony in Taiwan. Besides, through watching 4D animation, he is also aware of importance of practicing Three Acts of Goodness such as doing good deeds, speaking good words, and thinking good thoughts. ThisJune, the Buddha Museum held a collaborated graduation ceremony forstudents from 35 remote schools in Kaohsiung and Pingtung. Not only was a graduation ceremony held, there was also a field trip where games were designed for all the students to leave them with an impressive andmeaningful memory.
