佛光山佛陀紀念館

2019 518國際博物館日

今年518國際博物館主題為「博物館作為文化樞紐：傳統的未來」，各博物館皆試圖找尋新的方式推廣博物館典藏、歷史與遺產，將傳統賦予新意。

自1950年代，佛光山開山星雲大師為推廣佛誕節，特別構思出十大創意，舉凡佛誕餅、佛誕餐、佛誕卡、浴佛車、法會、花車遊行、話劇表演、音樂會、嘉年華、園遊會、三好作文、詩歌比賽等，接引普羅大眾認識佛誕文化，走出傳統，看見未來創新。今年佛陀紀念館將於國際博物館日配合此次佛誕節，將有一系列精彩活動。

1. 展覽

佛誕藝想‧發現人間的佛陀─2019佛誕特展

日期：2019/5/11(六)-2019/6/2(日)

展出地點：佛陀紀念館 本館佛光藝廊

透過此展覽，觀眾將過時間軸一睹星雲大師如何利用不同時代的媒介，舉凡文學、節慶、藝術、圖文書、漫畫、音樂劇、展覽以及動畫等形式來詮釋佛陀的一生，讓人看見傳統的未來與創新。現場更特別設計明信片形式的限量佛誕卡，歡迎大眾可從佛館寄出。 

2. 教育推廣-佛陀漫畫教學

活動日期：2019/5/18(六)

活動時間：13：00-15：00

活動地點：佛光山佛陀紀念館一教塔

3.  教育推廣-集印學習單

日期：2019/5/11(六)-2019/6/2(日)

藉由集印學習單，一同在佛館尋寶，完成任務將可在本館或禮敬大廳服務台兌換精美禮物。

International Museum Day 2019 

The theme of International Museum Day this year is “Museums as Cultural Hubs: The future of tradition.” The museums are finding new ways to honour their collections, their histories and their legacies, creating traditions that will have new meanings. Since 1950s, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, the Founder of Fo Guang Shan Monastery, has thought of different ways to celebrate the Buddha’s Birthday. They included the Buddha’s Birthday pastry, Buddha’s Birthday meals, Buddha’s Birthday cards, bathing the Buddha carriage, parades, drama performance, concerts, carnivals, fair, essay writing, poetry competition. This year, the Buddha Museum will illustrate this year’s theme along with Buddha’s Birthday celebrations, through a series of activities showing how tradition develops in an innovative way into the future.

Exhibition:

The Human Buddha - 2019 Buddha’s Birthday Exhibition

Dates: 11th May – 2nd June, 2019

Venue: Buddha Museum Art Walkway (Main Hall 2F)

In this exhibition, visitors can see how Venerable Master Hsing Yun used different medias such as literature, festive events, art, picture storybooks, comics, musicals, exhibitions and animation to interpret the Buddha's life, and catch a glimpse at the future and innovation of Buddhist tradition. There are limited Buddha’s Birthday postcards for all visitors to send out from the Buddha Museum.

Educational Outreach – Buddhist Comic Course

Date: 18th May

Time: 1 – 3PM

Venue: Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum One Teaching Pagoda

Lecture: Ping Wang (President of Chinese Cartoonists Union)

Participants: comic enthusiasts

Note: Buddha Museum will provide the drawing equipment.

Educational Outreach - Stamp Collections

Dates: 11th May – 2nd June, 2019

One can go on a treasure hunt with the stamp collection sheets. After collecting all

stamps, one can exchange for a gift at the information counter in the Main Hall or Front

Hall.
