本館北側有一處可讓身心靈休憩的空間，名為「雙閣樓」的金色建築物，在「清風吹拂老樹，池畔長滿荷花」的生態池襯托下，散發人文的氣息。雙閣樓外圍榕樹林及生態池更是校外教學，體驗自然生態蘊涵生命教育的最佳場所。有人說煦煦陽光映照在雙閣樓是最美的景色；也有人說，夜晚金碧輝煌的雙閣樓是最莊嚴的時刻。
雙閣樓二樓的「茶禪一味」空間，傳揚著中華茶道文化，三樓設「抄經堂」，提供「佛光菜根譚」與「心經」給人抄寫，是讓大眾修心養性、了解經文的好場所。為提昇人文氣息，「雙閣樓名家講座」設於三樓，成為人文空間平台。三樓設有佛館駐館藝術家工作室，以文化、藝術淨化人心，綠蔭中，讓大眾共享藝文深度，傾聽，善美與感動。

These gold-colored structures sit apart from the main buildings and is surrounded by a pond filled with lotuses. The first floor is the Waterdrop Tea House that serves Taiwanese cuisine in vegetarian form. Visitors can sample Tea Chan and experience sutra calligraphy on the second floor. Resident artists sometimes stay on the third floor, while keynote lectures are also conducted there. These lectures are opened to the public and discuss issues on education, culture and the arts.
