江州陳氏，宗族七百口，每食設廣席，長幼以次坐而共食之。
有畜犬百餘，同飯一牢，一犬不至，諸犬為之不食。

The Chen household in Jiangzhou has 700 members. Every time they hold a feast, the members sat according to their seniority. They fed over a hundred dogs, and if one dog fails to appear, the remaining dogs refuse to eat.
